Mel was absolutely incredible. She listened to the details I wanted with my pet portrait and exceeded my expectations. When she first brought the sketch to me, I was in tears (happy tears because it was perfect)! I’ve messaged so many of my friends recommending Mel, and I can’t wait to see my tattoo when it’s all healed!

Mel took great care making sure she understood my vision. My lower leg sleeve took 3 sessions and each time she laid out a plan and confirmed that I was happy with it. Mel also creates a comfortable environment to be in especially for 6+ hour sessions. Highly recommend.
Great experience with Mel. Will definitely be back! Love both of my tattoos that were done by Mel.

About Mel Lockett
A North Carolina native, Mel is an artist at heart. She moved to Tampa, Florida to study art and animation, completed her apprenticeship after graduation, and has been tattooing since 2011.
Her favorite tattoo styles are minimalist designs, fine line floral pieces, watercolor, and black-and-grey—really anything she can get lost in that requires great attention to detail and precision.
When Mel's not tattooing, drawing or painting, she's hanging out with her husband, collecting Harry Potter memorabilia, or just relaxing with a movie. She also makes a mean duct tape wallet.
